The Hamburg-based actress, Anne Weber, trained at the Westfälische Schauspielschule in Bochum. She is best known to a wide audience for her numerous television appearances. For many years, she has appeared regularly in the recurring role of Dr Karp in the ZDF series Nord Nord Mord. She has also appeared in numerous other TV programmes, including Polizeiruf 110, SOKO Wismar, Wilsberg, Notruf Hafenkante, Legend of Wacken, Mord oder Watt?, Die Kanzlei and Rote Rosen.
Alongside her extensive television work, Anne Weber continues to appear regularly on stage, including at the St. Pauli Theater and Hansa Theater in Hamburg, in productions such as The Threepenny Opera, Cabaret, and The Perfect Secret.
In addition to her work as an actress, she is also active as a songwriter and singer and has written several libretti for the Komische Oper Berlin, amongst other things.
